Big news for Collier County! We’ve achieved an incredible milestone by ranking third in the state of Florida for recycling—a feat made possible by the dedication and effort of our community. Your commitment to sustainability is helping to preserve our paradise for generations to come.

At the heart of this success is the support provided by the Collier County Waste Reduction & Recycling team. We’re here to make recycling simple, accessible, and effective for all residents and businesses.

Recycling Made Easy
To ensure everyone has the tools they need, we offer a range of free educational resources:

  • Residential Guidebook: A step-by-step guide to proper waste and recycling practices.
  • Trilingual “Recycle This!” Magnet: Quick reference for what can and cannot be recycled.
  • Custom Materials: Signage, stickers, brochures, and door hangers tailored for your community.
  • On-Site Support: Free presentations and consultations by our Recycling Coordinators.

Calling All Multifamily Communities!
Don’t forget, Ordinance 2009-56, Section 118 requires multifamily properties to:

  • Display clear signage identifying recycling container locations.
  • Provide recycling education to residents at least twice a year.

We’re here to help you meet these requirements with our comprehensive resources and personalized assistance.
